An Introduction to Supporting Children with Attachment Difficulties for School Senior Leaders
Day one of a two-day course on children’s barriers to learning as a result of insecure attachments, loss and trauma and the implications for school.
Each day is tailored for different staff from the same school, although this is not essential.
This can be booked as a one day course but the aim is that the school becomes 'attachment aware'.
This training is suitable for anyone working directly with families who has undertaken the Early Help and Lead Practitioner training and looking to become a Lead Practitioner.
The Outcome Star is a unique tool for identifying needs and measuring change when working with families. As the Outcome Star tool is embedded within the Early Help Assessment, Plans, Team Around the Child / family record and closure form it is essential all Early Help Practitioners are able to use the tool to enhance their work with children and their families.
