Domestic Abuse Awareness (formerly known as Domestic Abuse Level 2)
Domestic Abuse Awareness – 1 day training session
This full day course includes discussion of the latest research on types of domestic abuse, coercive control, the cycle of change, barriers to leaving and much more, including an introduction to domestic abuse risk assessment. This course will support professionals working directly with families who may be affected by domestic abuse. Delegates are supported to explore case management and early intervention using blended learning. This training is relevant to staff across school settings, voluntary sector and the general workforce but especially those in safeguarding, pastoral and family support roles.
